The Gasthaus Rössle used to be a place with fine cuisine, but what is now served there as "Kässpätzle" (after all, actually a local specialty) is just plain cheeky. Simply baked a portion of spaetzle with cheese is NOT a cheese spaetzle, especially if it lacks flavor and onions.

Slept well but a busy road under our room .. breakfast was perfect. Fine for a stopover.

Very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and really good cuisine. You should also try the good wine, it tastes really good. The breakfast is very rich and everything is brought to the table. Today I even got 3 pieces of plum cake for the day trip, that's just good hospitality, that's how you feel good on vacation. The rooms are completely okay and also clean. There are parking spaces behind the building, where a garden area invites you to relax. In my shower, the soap was empty, but it was quickly replaced, but it's not a point of criticism. All in all, everything is fine. I will gladly come again. Thanks for the good service ?

Nice service, delicious breakfast in the summer to take outside, practical large clean rooms. The only disadvantage: the church clock next door is active until 24h.

Very nice beer garden with lots of space, friendly service and good service. The dishes came quickly and nicely prepared, decent portions. The sauce with mushrooms, onions and bacon was to lie in! I would love to come back soon!

A beautiful place to stay at, but the WiFi is not great.

Visiting from the US we found our stay here very enjoyable. Located on the edge of the city it is easy to get to. Nice breakfast, friendly staff, exceptionally clean. Great place from which to enjoy black forest and Freiburg. Freiburg is great! Don't miss the downtown market.

Nothing on the menu was explicitly vegan, but some veggie options were said to be vegan and tasted great.
